Cooking a Chicken Breast

1 skinless boneless chicken breast
Salt and pepper
Butter or olive oil

Flatten the chicken breast by pounding it a little with whatever comes to hand.

Identify a matching frying pan and fitting lid.

Heat pan, then add butter or olive oil. When hot, lower heat a little and add the chicken breast. Cook for one minute. Then turn it over, put on the lid, and turn the heat right down. Now wait for 10 minutes without peeking. Turn off the heat entirely and wait another 10 minutes, still without lifting the lid.

The chicken breast is now cooked.
